Cumbria maintenance framework up for grabs

Cumbria County Council has started a search for a construction partner to undertake small repairs on civic buildings in an agreement worth up to £7m.

The four-year council contract will cover responsive repairs and small planned maintenance works at buildings from children's centres to fire stations and libraries.

The appointed contractor will be expected to be on call 24 hours a day and seven days a week.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 13 September.
