Colliers deals again in Lakes

Hotel agents at Colliers International have continued a recent run of deals in the Lake District with the sale of guest house Dene House in Bowness-on-Windermere off an asking price of £825,000.

Acting on behalf of Dennis Hannon who is retiring, Dene House was acquired by Ian and Jenny Spence who moved from Wirral.

Haydn Spedding, associate director of hotels at Colliers in Manchester, said Dene House featured seven letting bedrooms and two bedrooms for the owners, car parking and gardens.

"Ian joins his brother Richard, who recently purchased Wheatlands Lodge in Windermere, which was also sold by Colliers International," said Spedding.

Wow, that’s a lot of Bed and Breakfasts to do out of 7 rooms to pay for that!
