Commercial fit-out business Brown & Bancroft Interiors has made two new appointments following a run that has seen it win £2.5m of new business in a month.
The Bolton-based company, established in 2013 by former Overbury directors Paul Brown and Jill Bancroft along with Neil Fidler, has hired John Barta and Glenn Lewis. Both previously of Overbury, they take up positions in Brown & Bancroft’s site management team, contributing to delivery of projects worth £4.5m by the end of the year.
Currently boasting a team of 20, Brown & Bancroft is actively looking for further site managers, project managers, key operatives and quantity surveyors.
The business, which launched in 2013, said it expects turnover to hit £10m in 2017, up 30% year-on-year, thanks to instructions including law firm Mills & Reeve, manufacturer Heller UK, Kings Chambers and Siemens. Brown & Bancroft is set to complete its own refurbishment early next year as it expands into an adjacent office suite to double the size of its headquarters.
Brown said: “Currently working on sites across Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Yorkshire and Worcestershire, it has been imperative that we increase headcount with the addition of experienced professionals such as John and Glenn. Both bring with them a wealth of industry knowledge.
“We may be considered a young company, but the directors alone have been working in the property sector for circa 90 years and we are ambitious. We will thrive on a busy end to the year and look forward to an exciting 2017.”
Completed Brown & Bancroft projects include jobs for Bruntwood, EY, Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, Regatta, Latham & Watkins and Danish Crown.
