Automotive supplier chooses Wirral for UK debut

Legat Owen has completed a 17,500 sq ft letting on behalf of District Estates in Wirral to car suspension supplier Maxtrac for its first UK distribution facility and head office.

Maxtrac has taken unit one in Stadium Court, Bromborough on a five-year term and was advised by Scanlans.

Julian Rose, director of Maxtrac UK, said: "After looking at several potential sites I chose Unit 1 Stadium Court, Bromborough because of its ideal location close to the motorway network, and also the good condition of the building both externally and internally. It's essential that our products are available to as many businesses as possible, and moving into a warehouse that didn't need any refurbishment work will enable us to start trading quickly, and aid in establishing Maxtrac in the UK and Eire markets."

Patrick Hughes, associate director of Legat Owen, said: "Upon identifying the unit as their preferred choice, Maxtrac moved swiftly to complete the deal and are now in occupation. The accommodation provides excellent quality, modern warehouse accommodation and I am sure will be an excellent location for Maxtrac going forward."
