Arley reports strong Lancs sales
Two residential developments by Arley Homes on land acquired from Northern Trust are both fully sold.
The Maples in Fulwood, near Preston and The Meadows in Coppull, Chorley total 52 new homes. Northern Trust secured outline planning consent for residential development on both sites before selling to Arley Homes, which subsequently obtained detailed planning permission, built and sold the schemes.
John Cosgrave, managing director of Arley Homes, said: "The success of these two developments is extremely satisfying and clearly demonstrates there is still strong demand for good quality family homes in nice locations."
Stephen Glenn, land executive at Northern Trust, added: "Northern Trust has worked with Arley Homes' professional team on several occasions and have long been impressed by the quality of the homes they build.
"With a shortfall in the housing market, it is important for us to be able to deliver new housing developments to the local community and we will continue to work closely with Arley Homes on disposals of further suitable sites."
