Alliance’s Fairbairn Buildings fully occupied

Brand management agency, Kernel UK, has taken the last remaining suite at Property Alliance Group's office building on Sackville Street in central Manchester.

Kernel UK will occupy 1,050 sq ft at the historic 19th Century office, named after the influential Scottish structural engineer William Fairbairn who settled in Manchester in 1813.

Fairbairn Buildings was acquired by Property Alliance Group from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2007. Alliance refurbished the 16,500 sq ft building which is now home to Golley Slater, Reid Architects, Studio Liddell, Corus Rail Consulting, recruiters Blue Skies and Mines Advisory Group.

Justin Rouse, office specialist at letting agent P3, said: "Fairbairn Buildings presented occupiers with a rare opportunity to acquire self contained floors in a building of true charm. The blend of original character and a completely contemporary feel has proven a real hit with people looking for space that is just a bit different."
