Alden Green secures Agecroft letting

Advanced Flavour Solutions has signed for a 20,000 sq ft industrial unit at the Salford business park, relocating from Sedgley Trading Estate in Prestwich.

The company, which creates liquids for electronic cigarettes, has signed a 10-year lease on the unit, known as Irwell Point, which is owned by Rossendale-based investor Alden Green.

Irwell Point forms part of Barnfield Construction’s Evolution scheme, which provides 200,000 sq ft of industrial space across 11 acres at Agecroft Business Park.

Barnfield built the unit in 2016 before it was bought by Alden Green and let to flower distributor Clogflower Wholesale.

However, Clogflower appointed liquidators last year and has since vacated the unit.

Michael Solomon, director of Alden Green, said: “This is an excellent deal for both parties and reinforces Agecroft as an accessible manufacturing and distribution location.”

Davies Harrison and Nolan Redshaw acted on behalf of the landlord and Advanced Flavour Solutions was unrepresented.
