Airport reshuffle at DTZ
DTZ has recruited Richard McAuley as senior surveyor to advise Manchester Airport on property management and Simon Lowe, also senior surveyor, has rejoined after a spell at the airport.
McAuley joins DTZ from Warburton Estates in Lancashire where he was an asset manager and will join DTZ's corporate real estate team at Manchester Airport providing estate management services for the airport's non-operational estate. Prior to Warburton he spent three years at Jones Lang LaSalle.
Lowe joined DTZ in 2004 as a graduate surveyor before working in the investment team. He rejoins the investment team from the corporate real estate management team at Manchester Airport. He will provide asset management advice to a range of clients including Manchester Airport, Barclays Bank and Wolseley UK.
Mike Mitchell, managing director regions outside London at DTZ, said: "We are delighted to have secured Richard's appointment to our Manchester office. He has a wealth of experience in asset management and will be working with one of our biggest clients in the region. This move will enable us to strengthen our position in the market and ensure we continue to provide excellent service to our clients."
Bruce Poizer, investment director at DTZ in Manchester, added: "With previous knowledge of the investment market and valuable client focused experience with Manchester Airport, Simon makes an excellent addition to the department. Simon will be working on a number of corporate and receivership transactions in addition to the traditional property company and institutional investor work. Last year the Manchester investment team at DTZ concluded 29 transactions totalling 838,000 sq ft and £150m by value."
