A2 Architects plans Hamilton Square hotel

A2 Architects is marketing four neo-Greek Georgian terraces on Hamilton Square, Wirral as a development opportunity for a 30-bedroom boutique hotel with a 120-cover restaurant and conference suite.

The linked buildings are owned by A2 co-founder and director Dylan Jones and form part of the single largest collection of Grade I listed buildings outside London.

A2 has submitted detailed proposals to Wirral council with the backing of English Heritage and expects formal approval imminently.

Jones said: "These Grade I listed buildings have the potential to form an intimate and very personal hotel with the feel of a private members club, many Georgian interior features are fully preserved and form a fantastic backdrop to our contemporary interior."

Agents are currently being instructed to invite offers on a variety of terms.
