The Bamber Bridge-headquartered firm acquired the site in late 2024, making the buy from Raynor Rowen.
James Scott, managing director at Maple Grove, said: “We have worked closely with the local authority to finalise the site’s infrastructure design and are pleased to be at a stage where we can commence these works and open up the access to the site.”
CBRE and Carlisle-based Carigiet Owen are joint agents on the project.
Paul Cook, senior director of I&L at CBRE, said: “This announcement demonstrates Maple Grove’s commitment to delivering a new high-quality commercial development in this area of Cumbria.
“The location of the site, coupled with the fact that power has already been secured, is already attracting interest from occupiers looking for modern accommodation in this area of the North.”
