Manchester hotel bought by Irish investor

The Princess on Portland Hotel in Manchester city centre has been sold by Catherine Alexander and Tim Rumney to Dublin-based investor Harcourt Developments for £8m.

The 85-room hotel will be operated by Folio Hotel Group as a boutique hotel following a £3m refit.

Colliers Robert Barry advised on the deal.
