Lexington hires new Manchester director and associate director
Chris Peacock was appointed public affairs and communications director while Emma Wilson was named associate director at the strategic communications agency.
Peacock formerly worked at Grayling and Newington and has 15 years of experience in politics, consultation communications and public affairs. His area of expertise includes infrastructure, planning, housing, procurement, energy, and transport. He began his role at Lexington North office in July.
Wilson is a BECG veteran and is skilled in offering strategic advice on housing, retail, mixed-use, energy and infrastructure projects. She starts work at the agency’s Manchester office on Monday.
Their hires are not the only significant new appointments for Lexington, which named Rhiannon Thompson as its head of property. Johanna Jokinen was appointed interim head of responsible business practice and Amanda Johnson became Lexington’s head of people and culture. Thompson, Jokinen and Johnson are based out of Lexington’s London office.
“I’m delighted to welcome Chris, Emma, Rhiannon and Amanda to Lexington,” said Paul Boyfield, managing director of Lexington North. “We have continued to grow over the last 18 months and adding this wealth of talent and experience to the business will help us grow further and provide a truly integrated communications offer to our clients.”
The new appointments come months after Lexington went through a March rebranding. Prior to the rebrand, the company had been known as Lexington Communications.
Lexington has offices in Manchester, Leeds, London and Cambridge.
