Law firm signs up at Oakland House
Advised by Avison Young, legal firm Optimal Solicitors has relocated its 70-strong workforce to London & Scottish Investments’ Oakland House in Old Trafford.
The company has taken half of the third floor totalling just under 5,500 sq ft, with an option to take the remainder of the space taking its potential occupation up to more than 10,000 sq ft.
Currently based on Talbot Road, Optimal Solicitors has taken a five-year lease on its new space.
Avison Young associate director Harry Skinner said: “This is another good deal for the Old Trafford office market which is experiencing a resurgence following significant investment into improving the area’s transport links and numerous residential developments coming forward led by local and international investors. This regeneration will certainly boost the local office market.”
Bruce Edmondson, asset manager for London & Scottish Investments added: “We’ve undertaken a significant programme of refurbishment works at Oakland House including new signage, new external seating and landscaping along with refurbishment works to the reception and common areas.
“Further refurbishment works are planned for 2019 and we are delighted that our investment is attracting new occupiers to the building.”
Cushman & Wakefield are joint letting agents for the building.
