3D Visualiser: Modelling Manchester – Salary circa £21-24k
Career opportunity with an Architectural client, for a 3D Visualiser
- Where we are using Revit, our current visualiser used the model where possible on which to base visuals. He often has to strip out detail or even crop down the full model into parts to make it manageable for rendering / to suit timescales. The new candidate should have some revit skills. For simple jobs it is often quicker to build in sketchup than change the revit model.
- Starting a project without any revit information sketchup is used. The new candidate should be good with sketchup. We have just purchased sketchup pro 2015
- Where early sketchup models have been produced within a team, our current visualiser often has to manipulate them to improve the geometry and material data before he could use them for renders
Rendering
- Predominantly using 3D studio max
- Vray for quick renders direct from sketchup
Regular work
- Photoshop work working over existing photographs to indicate new shopfront and signage proposals. Often supplemented with some sketchup modelling of restaurant interiors to provide a view into the refurbished restaurant
- 3D work / visualisations from quick feasibility images to high quality renders
