Handover near for Blackburn retail scheme

Manchester-based Pulse Partnerships is close to completing construction of the Royal Retail Park in Blackburn, with tenants expected to move in within the next few weeks.

The 5,000 sq ft unit on the site of the former Royal Infirmary Hospital on Bolton Road is let to Morrisons M Local and Domino's Pizza.

Condale Construction is the contractor on the scheme, which was designed by NW Architects.

Richard McGawley, director of Pulse, said: "We are very pleased to deliver this new build project for Morrisons and Domino's. The NW Architects-designed scheme was driven primarily by quality and not price and we were fortunate to find in Condale, a contractor who shared this ethos and continually impressed us with their professionalism and quality of workmanship.

"Marketing of the investment opportunity is underway and we believe that this landmark gateway site will offer an attractive investment opportunity."

Ian Gill of Mowbray Gill acted for Pulse on the acquisition and lettings.
