Greenergy signs for 12,000 sq ft at Towers

Acting on behalf of landlord Kennedy Wilson, CBRE has secured a 12,000 sq ft letting to fuel business Greenergy at Towers Business Park in Didsbury.

Located just off the A34 close to East Ddisbury station, Towers is around six miles south of Manchester city centre. The deal represents an expansion at the park for Greenergy, which previously occupied space at Egerton House and will move to Ocean House.

Matthew Milroy, director of asset management at Kennedy Wilson, said: “The letting to Greenergy is a great example of an exciting, growing business moving into Towers Business Park and is reward for a further year of continued progress with our placemaking and wellbeing initiatives. With the upcoming launch of our customer-focused Towers app we are very excited about 2019 at Towers.’’

The landlord said that it has recently made a significant investment into placemaking and improving onsite amenities, including a calendar of onsite wellbeing activities such as football, running, yoga and fitness classes, in addition to new cycling facilities and an onsite café.

Jamie Bottomley, director at CBRE Manchester, said: “We are delighted to support Greenergy’s expansion plans for its growing business. Towers is well connected with easy access to Manchester city centre and is an inspiring place to work. Greenergy will join more than 20 other businesses who enjoy the estate’s improved facilities and amenities thanks to the commitment of the landlord to upgrade the park’s offer.”

Colliers International and Edwards & Co are joint leasing agents on Towers, where the tenant roster also includes BA and John Lewis.
