Global pharma company plans 130,000 sq ft car park at North Wales campus
Ipsen Biopharm wants to construct a 400-space multi-storey car park at its Ash Road complex within Wrexham Industrial Estate.
The pharmaceutical company, which develops treatments for cancer and rare diseases, has submitted plans for the 130,000 sq ft car park to Wrexham County Council.
The scheme would be constructed north of Ipsen’s new 120,000 sq ft manufacturing facility on the eastern portion of its Wrexham campus, which is currently under construction.
It would see parking across the estate rationalised and “consolidate dispersed staff parking and improve the efficiency, safety and management of parking across the wider Ipsen site”, according to planning documents.
The car park would be seven storeys tall and have 14 levels of parking.
Loveloick Mitchell Architects is leading on design and Axis is advising on planning. Land Studio is also working on the project.
