Galliford Try takes 16,000 sq ft at Birchwood Park

Situated at 401 Faraday Street, the construction firm’s new office houses the company’s environment, telecoms, infrastructure, and asset intelligence arms.

Galliford Try has signed a 10-year lease on a 16,200 sq ft open-plan, flexible office at Birchwood Park in Warrington, relocating from its previous space off Crab Lane nearby.

Aligning with the company’s commitment to net zero and ESG goals, the office features 100% renewable energy, on-site bee hives to add to biodiversity, and shuttle buses to promote sustainable travel.

Mark Baxendale, head of group property at Galliford Try, said: “Moving to these new sustainable offices is another example of our commitment to achieving net zero carbon across our operations by 2030.

“The park also commits to sending zero waste direct to landfill, with over 75% of waste recycled each year, and features some of the most accessible parking options within the surrounding area.”

Home to more than 165 companies including Bellway and David Wilson Homes, Birchwood Park also provides on-site facilities such as a gym, restaurants, a café, a nursery, and an events space.
