Fylde waves through 350 homes and 160,000 sq ft factory
The council gave the green light to Wain Homes’ proposals for land off Cropper Lane and a new headquarters for HTI Group.
Fylde Council’s planning committee met last week to determine the two applications, both of which were recommended for approval by the authority’s planning team.
Wain Homes has been granted permission to build 350 homes on 37 acres off Cropper Road.
The project would feature 77 two-bedroom houses, 62 with three bedrooms, and 211 with four bedrooms.
The site is located on the Fylde-Blackpool border and is close to several other residential schemes from developers including Breck Homes, Eden Land & Development, and Oakwood Homes. It is earmarked for housing as part of a wider allocation in Fylde’s local plan.
Emery Planning and DGL Associates are advising Wain Homes on the scheme, which benefits from outline consent granted in 2020.

Whinfield Commercial, which is progressing the scheme for HTI, wants to build a new HQ and manufacturing facility off Coronation Way.
