Eddisons becomes BTG Eddisons under BTG rebrand

BTG Eddisons will underline the new brand with an extended campaign of activity with Place North encompassing major events and online commentary.

The UK-wide offering of surveyors, agents, auctioneers and consultants, has refreshed its brand following the rebrand of Begbies Traynor Group to BTG.

The new BTG Eddisons brand offers clients greater access to all financial and real estate advisory services across the BTG group, including financial advisory, restructuring and real estate services. This follows significant acquisitions since BTG Eddisons joined the Begbies Traynor Group 11 years ago.

Anthony Spencer, managing partner at BTG Eddisons, said: “This is a strategic move for the BTG Eddisons brand and brings us closer to our colleagues across BTG as well as expanding our UK-wide footprint. This will be of great benefit to our clients, both new and established. They will gain simplified access to a wider range of skillsets that will make their businesses stronger and help them capitalise on opportunities and tackle any issue across their lifecycle.”

The real estate division under BTG Eddisons encompasses four service lines:

  • Agency and Auctions
  • Valuation and Asset Advisory
  • Projects and Developments
  • and Property Management and Insurance.

These teams will collaborate with BTG’s Restructuring, Financial Advisory, Deal Advisory and Funding & Insurance service lines.

As part of the rebrand, a number of the auctions businesses and their expert teams that were part of Eddisons will also be renamed under BTG Eddisons Property Auctions, including SDL Auctions, Pugh Auctions, Mark Jenkinson. Recent acquisitions Network Auctions and Kirkby Diamond will take on the BTG Eddisons identity in due course.

We’ve also used this opportunity to bring together our auction practices; combining Pugh, Mark Jenkinson and SDL to become BTG Eddisons Property Auctions and we’re really excited to build on that moving forward.”

Details of BTG Eddisons’ collaboration with Place North will be released in due course.
