Crookshank lets 10,000 sq ft in Cheadle

DSG Financial Services has agreed to lease the whole of Building F at Hercules Office Park as part of a business expansion.

Building F is a two-storey, 10,500 sq ft office property with a double-height entrance and communal lawned area. It is one of eight buildings on Hercules Office Park in Cheadle – located 1.5 miles off Junction 2 of the M60, three miles west of Stockport, six miles east of Manchester Airport and eight miles south of the city centre.

The deal with the landlord Crookshank Properties was completed within five months of letting agent B1 Real Estate being appointed, after the previous tenant vacated the building last summer.

The terms of the lease were not disclosed but the quoting rent was £15.50/sq ft. Knight Frank was the joint agent on the deal.

DSG Financial Services, an FCA-regulated broker, is already based at the business park and the letting represents an expansion of its activities.

Jonathan Baucher, director at B1 Real Estate, which acted for Crookshank, said: “In the midst of a global pandemic that is impacting real estate markets across the world, particularly in the office sector, we are delighted to have successfully concluded the letting to DSG Financial Services within five months of appointment.

“The letting demonstrates that many office occupiers are firmly committed to returning to the office when restrictions permit.

“We are continuing to attract an encouraging level of occupational demand from office occupiers across the region.”
