Covent Garden owner poaches Grosvenor fund manager

Sarah Jane CurtisSarah-Jane Curtis, fund manager of the Grosvenor Liverpool Fund that owns Liverpool One, is leaving to join Capital & Counties.

Curtis took over as fund manager of the Grosvenor Liverpool Fund in January following a £385m debt refinancing of the retail asset, valued at £650m.

She previously ran the Mayfair retail estate for Grosvenor and will carry out a similar role for Capital & Counties as director of Covent Garden.

Ian Hawksworth, Capco chief executive, said: "Sarah-Jane has a wealth of experience in London retail and residential property and will strengthen and complement the existing teams' skills set perfectly and provide leadership for the next phase of development of the estate."

Grosvenor confirmed Curtis will leave in July and the search for her replacement has now started.
