Construction Partnership UK to build restaurant
Construction Partnership UK has won a £1.2m contract to build a 7,500 sq ft restaurant at Warrington's Lingley Mere Business Park.
Lingley Mere is a joint venture between Muse Developments and United Utilities.
Construction will start immediately on the single-storey restaurant to be built on a greenfield site between the park's two lakes.
The project includes the creation of an access road and parking, landscaping and the renewal of lakeside footpaths.
The contract is the latest in a series of project wins in the retail and business park sectors for CPUK, Skelmersdale.
Managing director Steve Burke said: "The Lingley Mere contract shows there is movement in the commercial sector and we are in negotiations for more work in retail, with a number of out-of-town developments across the region looking at expansion and refurbishment, which is a really good sign."
CPUK's contracts include retail projects at MediaCityUK in Salford and the Trafford Centre.
It has started work on the £4.3m Castle Retail Park expansion in Penrith for The Welbeck Estates Company and has a £2m contract to refurbish part of the St Nicholas' Gate retail park in Carlisle for clients of LaSalle Investment Management.
