Conferma Pay in 15,000 sq ft deal at Towers
The payment technology provider has decided to leave its 6,500 sq ft Cheadle Royal office after 12 years and relocate to Didsbury.
Conferma Pay has signed a 10-year lease on the 15,000 sq ft Ocean House at Kennedy Wilson’s Towers Business Park.
Andy Matthews, chief financial officer at Conferma said, “The decision to take space at Towers was based on the excellent specification and size of the office space, as well as the sense of community within the park and the excellent environment it will provide for our team.
“We’re very excited about the move here and the positive impact it will have on our business.”
Colliers, CBRE, and Edwards & Co acted on behalf of Kennedy Wilson and Canning O’Neill advised Conferma Pay.
Kennedy Wilson acquired Towers Business Park in 2016 for £82m from US investor Lone Star.
The complex is made up of 10 offices, totalling 289,100 sq ft.
Conferma’s arrival follows a raft of lettings totalling 37,000 sq ft earlier this year.
Essity, NCC Education, I Love Cosmetics, Sitel Group, and a national housebuilder signed leases at the South Manchester office complex averaging eight years, bringing the Park to 95% occupied.
Dominic Pozzoni, director at Colliers, said: “After a successful first half year, with the arrival of a number of new occupiers, it is fantastic to have attracted Conferma Pay to Towers.
“Following the completion of a programme of sustainability-focussed improvements, Towers continues to be a highly sought-after office location that benefits from excellent amenities and a regular programme of on-site placemaking events throughout the year.”
James Dickinson, director at Canning O’Neill, which advised Conferma Pay, added: “This is one of the largest transactions in South Manchester this year and represents a significant commitment to the future of this thriving technology business.
“With the move now agreed, Conferma Pay is now undertaking a full fit-out with the aim of relocating to The Towers at the start of the new year.”
