ClearFibre aims to ‘dominate market’ with heavyweight hires

The residential connectivity specialist, part of Telcom Group, has appointed Paul Eaton as chief commercial officer and Richard Curwood as chief delivery officer.

The pair have a pedigree background which stretches back over 25 years in the industry, and previously achieved a market-leading proposition with previous employer, Glide Residential and its Smart Fibre Infrastructure product for residential blocks.

Telcom and ClearFibre said they have “secured some of the most prestigious investors in the market” and are now setting their sights on “market domination”.

Eaton commented: “Richard is without doubt one of the most knowledgeable and innovative thinkers in his field. Together we have redesigned our previously ground-breaking infrastructure system to create ‘Clear Convergence’. This new system offers customers a far superior, more efficient and affordable solution, which combined with the Telcom Group’s own national fibre network, can offer an unrivalled level of service.”

Telcom Group, founded in Manchester, provides internet and tailored connectivity solutions to businesses and property developments across the UK. ClearFibre marks a renewed focus of the group on the residential internet market which has seen considerable growth with the recent boom in people working from home.

Curwood added: “I have always admired the entrepreneurial approach that Telcom have adopted and their commitment to developing the country’s best products and services for their customers. I look forward to working with them as part of their long-term commitment to revolutionising the country’s internet provision.”

Headquartered in Manchester, ClearFibre provides best-in-class connectivity to your home with guaranteed Wi-Fi in every room at the fastest speeds.

Shaun Gibson, CEO of Telcom Group, adds: “Paul and Richard have been on our radar for some time now and we have always admired their honesty, dedication and professionalism which shows in being respected by so many of their clients. We are so excited to have them join us in another great milestone in the Telcom story.”
