City West/Liverpool Mutual set up consultancy panel

A group of social housing providers led by Eccles-based City West Housing Trust and including Liverpool Mutual Homes is setting up a framework for construction consultancy and architectural services.

The framework will run for four years and comprise of up to four construction consultants and six architects. Budgets of £8m for construction and £2m for architecture have been set for the period.

Liverpool Mutual Homes manages 15,000 properties in the city following stock transfer from Liverpool City Council in 2008. City West Housing Trust manages a similar number of homes in West Salford and has a funding agreement to spend £900m over 30 years on its estate.
