CBRE hires valuation duo

The Manchester office of CBRE has appointed two to its North West valuation advisory team, with Gareth Hughes joining as associate director and James Kington as surveyor.

Hughes moved to CBRE from Deloitte, while Kington joined from Rushton International.

The Manchester valuation team now consists of two directors, three associate directors, two senior surveyors, one surveyor and a graduate.

CBRE said the appointments were in response to regional market improvement. The North West team collectively values around £3.75bn of property in the North West for institutional funds and around £5bn worth of property for banks, building societies and property companies.

Siobhan Fraser, head of valuation advisory for the North West at CBRE, said: "The two new appointments will position us well to deal with the increasing pick-up in the market and allow us to deliver the breadth and depth of commercial property expertise and client service for which CBRE is well known."
