Brackley brings forward final Omega North plot

Brackley Property Developments has acquired a 4.67-acre plot within Omega North in Warrington, which will be marketed to potential logistics occupiers as suitable for a warehouse of up to 92,000 sq ft.

B8 Real Estate and Cushman & Wakefield have been appointed joint agents, with a view to securing an occupier and being on site by early 2017.

Brackley OmegaThe development plot, which has been branded Omega Point, fronts onto the M62. The land was sold by Travis Perkins, which operates a distribution hub next to the site. Depending on occupier requirements, Brackley plans to deliver between 50,000 sq ft to 92,000 sq ft of industrial space on the land.

The site is the last plot on the Northern side of Omega, which is home to occupiers Travis Perkins, Hermes and Brakes. The adjoining Omega South has warehouses let to Asda, The Hut Group, and Plastics Omnium.

Omega Warrington has been delivered by a joint venture between Miller Developments and KUC Properties. The JV works in partnership with landowner the Homes & Communities Agency and is supported by Warrington Council and the Cheshire & Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership.

Stephen Pedrick-Moyle, joint managing director of Brackley, said: “We are very excited about our first site acquisition in the North West and believe we have acquired the most high-profile prime site of its size in the region.”
