Birkenhead’s Hamilton Building up for sale
Lambert Smith Hampton has brought the 32,700 sq ft office to market on Wirral Council’s behalf.
Located to the south of Conway Street and north of the Pyramids Shopping Centre in Birkenhead, the four-storey building was last occupied by council staff.
The Hamilton Building has been identified as suitable for reuse, refurbishment, or redevelopment.
Planning permission for any change of use would be required.
Oliver Williams, regional land manager at LSH, said: “We are experiencing continued demand for strategically located assets across the Wirral peninsula and this site presents a unique opportunity in the heart of a regeneration zone.
“We look forward to receiving expressions of interest from a range of local and national developers.”
Agents LSH were first appointed by Wirral Council in 2023 to advise the local authority on its strategic disposal proposal, as it seeks to meet its housing delivery requirements.
Great location, would make great apartments.
A real shame how the landlord (the Council) has left it to rot and ruin whilst spending £80m to build largely empty office buildings 300m away.

A hotel or flats, take your pick, plenty of parking anyway.
