Beyond Law acquires solicitors Hawkswell Kilvington
The Manchester-based legal group has brought the 20-person-strong construction law specialist under its umbrella, becoming Beyond Law Group’s fifth specialist legal practice.
Beyond Law Group is behind practices Beyond Corporate, McAlister Family Law, Home Property Law, and Vault Private Client.
Hawkswell Kilvington is to operate as Hawkswell Kilvington Construction Law out of Beyond Law Group’s Bass Warehouse office in Manchester. Beyond Law also has offices in London and Leeds.
Matt Fleetwood, founder and chief executive of Beyond Law Group said the acquisition is a significant step towards its long-term strategy to build specialist legal practices under its Group structure.
“Hawkswell Kilvington is an exceptional specialist construction practice with an outstanding reputation, and as with our other practices, is a real challenger in its sector.
“Bringing together the Hawkswell Kilvington team and the Beyond Corporate construction team will give the Group and the individual teams the momentum to grow and build on an already established national presence.
“This move also puts the Group’s roots in Yorkshire, which is part of our growth strategy.”
Hawkswell Kilvington is currently based in Leeds.

Squire Patton Boggs and Eight Advisory provided legal and financial diligence services to Beyond Law Group for the deal.
