The nasal & inhaled drug producer has consent to expand by 76,000 sq ft after councillors voted unanimously to wave through its application to do so.
There were no dissenting votes cast as councillors hailed Bespak’s existing output and the potential creation of a further 150 jobs for Holmes Chapel.
Bespak hopes to establish two new production lines in the two-storey space proposed. The block is an extension to Bespak’s existing headquarters at the site.
The company was supported by Tyler Grange, CBO Transport, BES, CCG, Spectrum Acoustic Consultants, Shaw Stephens Consulting, and Avison Young throughout the application process.

Breck Homes has won approval for its 54-home scheme in Winterley, with councillors casting seven votes in favour of the application.
The scheme proposes a housing mix of six one-, 23 two-, 21 three-, and four four-bedroom homes, according to planner Mosaic Town Planning.
Each property is expected to have a private garden area while the scheme itself will also provide public open space and a children’s play area.
The plans show that the existing building at 481 Crewe Road is to be demolished to provide site access.
Breck worked with Prime Transport Planning, Ironside Farrar, Miller Goodall, UES, and IGE Consulting to compile the plans.
