Oldham has always been a place of ambition, resilience and pride. Now, that ambition is turning into real opportunity.

Through our Building a Better Oldham programme, we are delivering one of the most significant regeneration programmes the borough has ever seen. Major projects are reshaping the town centre, strengthening our economy, boosting culture and creating high-quality public spaces.

So far, this work has unlocked £285 million of public sector investment, supporting over 2,000 new homes, 1,000 new jobs, and 100 apprenticeship opportunities in Oldham town centre.

We are inviting investors and businesses to join us for a focused, forward-looking invest event where you will hear directly from council leaders and industry experts. We will reflect on what we have delivered in 2025 and, crucially, look ahead to 2026, a landmark year for Oldham, with major projects coming forward and clear opportunities for investment, growth and partnership.
