Anwyl buys St Helens site from Network Space
In its first scheme in the town, North Wales-based housebuilder Anwyl has purchased a nine-acre site in St Helens with planning permission for 82 homes.
Anwyl is looking to start construction in April or May this year after acquiring the site, now named Lea Grange, from Network Space. The housebuilder’s site will include a mix of three-bed semi-detached houses as well as three and four-bed detached homes.
Gallagher Technical Design has worked on the project as architect alongside Anwyl’s in-house designed team. The land has been purchased for an undisclosed sum.
The move into St Helens is part of Anwyl’s expanding presence in Merseyside and Lancashire; the group is already on site at the former Prysmian Cables site in Prescot, and secured planning permission for a site in Roby in November last year.
John Grime, former managing director of Redrow in the North West, joined the company in April 2017 to head up its Lancashire division.
