Pin completes 123,000 sq ft double in Knowsley

Pin Property is celebrating the completion of two industrial deals in Knowsley within the same week.

An 85,000 sq ft warehouse in Lees Road, Knowsley Industrial Estate, has been let to oil industry supplier Baker Hughes Corporation following a full refurbishment by PIN on a two-year lease at a rental of £2.50/sq ft.

In the same week a 38,000 sq ft warehouse on Knowsley Trading Estate has been sold by Pin to Italian cable manufacturer Tratos on a freehold basis for an undisclosed sum.

Imran Younus, marketing director of Pin Property, said: "We put a lot of hard work into transforming the Lees Road site and are very happy that an international company like Baker Hughes found it fit for purpose. We are very proud to have secured a company that was founded by the great Howard Hughes."

Younus added: "We were about to put into operation a refurbishment plan for our Randles Road site when we were approached by Tratos who are located on the other side of the road. They have major expansion plans and wanted to secure the site for themselves. Following a period of negotiation we agreed to sell the building in its unfurbished state. Coincidence made both deals complete in the same week."
