Telecoms company moves to Trident

St Modwen Properties has let a 6,820 sq ft office to Communicate Better at Brighton House in Trident Business Park, Birchwood.

Communicate Better will relocate from Swinton and will use the site as its new head office.

Trident Business Park is a 17-acre development providing a mixture of industrial and office accommodation. The park, owned and developed by St Modwen, is home to Sharp Electronics, GE Energy, Triton Construction, Technomot and is a regional base for St Modwen.

BE Group is the letting agent at the park.

Simon Roddam, associate director of BE Group, said: "Typically, 65% of office transactions each year in Birchwood come via Birchwood occupiers relocating within the area making it a fairly insular market. Communicate Better undertook an 18 month search for a suitable head office relocation and after considering opportunities in and around Cheshire and Greater Manchester, they agreed to move to Birchwood, which is a significant catch of an inward mover into the area."
