Barton joins Maybern

Planning and development consultancy Maybern has hired Hollie Barton from NJL Consulting as a senior planning consultant.

The firm said that Barton joins with extensive experience on a range of residential, retail and mixed use projects having advised clients including Peel, Urban Splash, St Modwen, LaSalle Investment Management and NewRiver.

Katie Delaney, Maybern Planning & Development founder and director, said “Hollie brings a wide skill-set including those associated with her background in retail planning, and also her passionate enthusiasm to assisting in growing the business.”

Based at Urban Splash’s Beehive Mill in Manchester, Maybern was founded by Delaney in 2017. The company has thus far advised on projects including Manchester City Council’s recently approved Peterloo Massacre memorial designed by Jeremy Deller, and has delivered numerous planning permissions across the North West since the company was set up.
