Warner announces seven lettings at NW shopping centres
Warner Estate Holdings' Bolton Market Place and Middleton Shopping Centres have secured a raft of new tenants in recent weeks.
Market Place, which opened a 100,000 sq ft extension last autumn following the restoration of the connecting Victorian market hall, has welcomed fashion brand, Internacionale, which has opened a 4,200 sq ft unit on a 15-year lease. Love Accessories, Daniel Christian and Envy have also signed at the centre.
At Middleton Shopping Centre, Specsavers is expanding from a 1,266 sq ft unit to a 2,065 sq ft unit over two floors, agreed for ten years at £55,000.
Internacionale has also signed at Middleton, on a 15-month lease at £40,000, and Smiths Sport has signed for a £40,000 pax lease; both of these lettings have been agreed on a base rent plus turnover basis.
Simon Wigzell, divisional director at Warner, commented: "We are delighted to be able to maintain such a fruitful mix of small independent businesses and big name brands at Market Place and Middleton Shopping Centres. Now more than ever, it is important that consumers are provided with variety and that new names are introduced to add something new and draw shoppers to the schemes."
