Pannone partner leaves for Semple Fraser

The Manchester office of law firm Semple Fraser LLP has appointed Simon Wallwork as a corporate partner working in renewable energy among his specialist sectors.

Wallwork was formerly head of the corporate department at Pannone LLP. He has 20 years' experience advising clients such as Windpower Wales, Lectus Therapeutics, Amaze and BiOxyDyn.

Semple Fraser's client base includes Eden Springs, the Glenmorangie Company, LVHM, Peel Group, Lhoist UK, Land Securities and Ayrshire Power. The company has other offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh and opened in Manchester one year ago.

Bill Fowler, head of the corporate group at Semple Fraser, said: "Our Manchester office has grown rapidly since opening just over 12 months ago and the new corporate team there will be an asset to our clients, both north and south of the border."
