Deal agreed on Blackburn shed

Beva Investments has disposed of 194,000 sq ft on a 15-year lease to Sally Hair & Beauty Supplies, the US retailer of professional beauty products, at Walker Park in Blackburn.

Walker Park off the M65 is home to Bibby Distribution, Corus, Pentland Group and marketing distributor MDA.

Will Chadwick, managing director of Beva Investments, said: "Walker Park was the ideal option for Sally Hair and Beauty, as it provides high quality accommodation at the right price and in the right location. This is a significant letting for Beva and comes just months after the 160,000 sq ft letting of Unit 1A to MDA in April. Blackburn's reputation as a strong manufacturing base, combined with the current lack of quality product along the M65 corridor makes Walker Park the only viable destination for companies looking for warehouse accommodation in the area."

Letting agents for Beva are GVA, Jones Lang LaSalle and Taylor Weaver. CBRE acted for Sally Hair and Beauty.
