Eshton offloads land at Burnley Bridge
The developer has sold a nine-acre plot capable of accommodating 100,000 sq ft of industrial space to Monte Blackburn, a company owned by the billionaire Issa brothers.
Known as Titanium Park, Leeds-based Eshton sold the plot off-market for an undisclosed sum.
Monte Blackburn intends to bring forward the development speculatively as consented, with units starting at 14,000 sq ft.
The developer, which is also behind Frontier Park in Blackburn, aims to be on site early next year.
Titanium Park forms part of the wider Burnley Bridge Business Park. In total, Eshton has developed 750,000 sq ft of industrial space at Burnley Bridge, let to occupiers including Exertis and Fagan & Whalley.
Located off Junction 9 of the M65, Titanium Park represents the final phase of the Burnley Bridge in the scheme.
Trevor Dawson and Avison Young acted jointly on behalf of Eshton on the disposal of the site. Trevor Dawson will remain as retained letting agent for the site under the new owners.
Michael Cavannagh, director of Trevor Dawson, said: “This is exciting news for Burnley Bridge and the wider Burnley area. “It is great to see ongoing developer confidence in the area for speculative development.”
