WHP relocates to Birchwood Park
In the second large deal at Warrington’s Birchwood Park in the past month, telecoms infrastructure business WHP has taken 19,000 sq ft on the first floor of 401 Faraday Street.
WHP Telecoms is relocating from St James’s Court in Warrington and will take 190 employees to its new base.
The company provides planning, design, acquisition, deployment and maintenance of mobile network masts, and earlier this year was subject to a management buyout backed by Equistone Partners.
Other companies based at Faraday Street include Aecom which has around 16,500 sq ft on the third floor.
WHP’s deal follows Mirion Technologies taking 11,200 sq ft at Cavendish Place two weeks ago. Radiation measurement company Mirion already has a base in Oxfordshire and its facility at Birchwood is its first in the North West.
BE Group and JLL are the retained agents for Birchwood Park, which is managed by Patrizia.
