Varied lots for Smith & Sons auction

Smith & Sons will offer 23 lots at its property auction on Wednesday 25 September.

Lots include a fire-damaged house on Borough Road, Wallasey, with a guide price of between £10,000 and £15,000, and a large detached home in Heswall with a guide price of between £520,000 and £540,000.

Lot 3, pictured, a substantial 10-bedroom detached house, with coach house, in Highfield Road, Birkenhead, is available at a guide of between £90,000 and £110,000.

Chris Johnson, auctioneer at Smith & Sons, said: "This is one of the most varied catalogues we've offered for some time. The auction spans Merseyside and should be of interest to every purchaser, from the developer to first time buyer.

"In more recent years, auction properties have tended to be set at middle of the road prices and contained within specific areas. Now a wider span of sellers are looking at auction to sell on their property, quickly and efficiently."

The sale will take place at the Village Hotel, Bromborough, at 2pm.
