Uni seeks architect lead for £200m project

The University of Manchester is looking to appoint a consultant to deliver architect and design team leader services for a £200m contract related to the relocation of its Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences.

The faculty is moving from the North Campus near to Manchester city centre to the South Campus on Oxford Road, with works to be undertaken potentially including demolition, enabling works, new build, refurbishment, heritage refurbishment, fit-out, staff relocation and major equipment moves.

The contract is programmed to commence imminently with a completion date around autumn 2018.
