UKbifold expands at Heywood Distribution Park

Segro has let an additional 8,384 sq ft in unit B8F at Heywood Distribution Park in Rochdale to the manufacturer of window frames and conservatory packages.

UKbifold already leases two units at the park and the third takes its total space to 33,130 sq ft.

The company, based at the park since 2004, has agreed on a four year lease for an undisclosed sum.

Jane Leedham, leasing manager at Segro, said: "The fact that UKbifold has decided to lease more space at Heywood Distribution Park is testament to the strong relationship that we have developed with our customers."

Frank Tate, managing director of UKbifold, added: "We have acquired an additional new unit for producing aluminium windows at the popular Heywood Distribution Park, along with new showrooms opened in Milton Keynes and Croydon. Heywood Distribution Park is strategically positioned to key motorway networks that allow us to service the entire UK."

King Sturge and Savills are joint agents on Heywood Distribution Park.
