Tritax appoints managing director
Andrew Dickman will take over the leadership role from Richard Bowen, who is staying on as a director of the industrial development company.
Dickman has been a director of Tritax Symmetry for eight years. Prior to joining Tritax, he worked for DB Symmetry, which was acquired by Tritax in 2019. Other companies Dickman has worked for include Barwood Developments and Patrick Properties.
As managing director, Dickman will head up the company’s management board. Also on the board: finance director Will Oliver, development director Tom Leeming, and Northampton office head and development director Jonathan Wallis.
Dickman was optimistic about Tritax’s future.
“Tritax Symmetry is at an exciting stage in its growth journey, having expanded from 24 people at the start of 2019 to 45 people today, as a result of the successful implementation of our strategy,” he said.
“We believe the business is well placed to capitalise on the underlying structural drivers of the logistics and industrial market and are committed to continued collaboration with our customers to support their needs, including enhancing ESG credentials.”
Bowen praised Dickman’s promotion.
“We are proud to have built the business from its inception in 1996 through organic growth and a series of mergers and acquisitions in recent years, to become one of the leading logistics developers in the UK,” Bowen said.
“I am delighted to now hand the reins over to Andrew and look forward to seeing the business continue to go from strength to strength under his leadership.”
Tritax is the development arm of Tritax Big Box REIT and is building more than 3m sq ft of logistics space in the UK. Recent projects in the North West for Tritax Symmetry include the 2m sq ft Ma6nitude in Middlewich (being delivered alongside NPL) and the 120-acre Symmetry Park Merseyside in Knowsley.
Tritax has offices in Manchester, London, and Northampton.
