AG embarks on ‘new chapter’ with Manchester growth

AG Built Environment Consultancy has recruited two senior faces to its Manchester team and expanded into a larger office within Canada House in the city centre.

James Batey joins as the head of building surveying and Craig Greaves takes the role of head of measured surveys and data capture. Greaves joins from the CAD Room where he spent three years as survey manager. Before joining AG, Batey spent five years at PMP, latterly as head of building surveying.

Jonathan Shaw, CEO of AG Built Environment Consultancy said: “The Manchester office marks a new chapter in our growth mission, and it’s been fantastic to see the team enjoying the space already. James and Craig have joined at an exciting time for AG and their expertise and experience will be instrumental in our plans over the next few years. As we introduce a new company structure, we look forward to welcoming further key hires in the coming months.”

Batey commented: “I’ve been consistently impressed with AG throughout my career, having crossed paths often. As part of my role, I’m eager to support and nurture an already strong team and I look forward to contributing to the firm’s already impressive legacy.”

AG employs 50 people across three bases in Manchester, Preston and Liverpool. Clients include SIG and Langtree.
