Spec phase completes at Stonebridge
Contractor Caddick has completed work on the latest phase of St Modwen’s Stonebridge Business Park in Liverpool, a speculatively developed phase that has added 63,650 sq ft of industrial space to the scheme across four units fronting the East Lancs Road.
The smallest of the units, a 5,100 sq ft facility, has been pre-sold to Almond Catering Supplies for £450,000. The remaining three comprise 10,400 sq ft, 15,900 sq ft and 32,450 sq ft.
David Nuttall, development manager at St Modwen North West, said: “The latest speculative development we have undertaken at Stonebridge reflects our confidence in this location and our belief that there is demand in the local and regional economy for high quality accommodation.
“These latest units will complement the offer we have at Stonebridge which now has a total of 298,000 sq ft of accommodation over 50 units.
Mark Rich, regional commercial manager at Caddick Construction, said: “We look forward to seeing the local economy benefit from the newest phase of the development.
“We continue to be heavily involved in regeneration in Liverpool as work continues at Great Homer Street and Liverpool Shopping Park, and it’s very rewarding to watch the city go from strength to strength as investment in the area continues.”
This phase of development follows the construction of a 69,200 sq ft parcel distribution facility for DPD and a 15,700 sq ft speculative tranche of start-up units, which both opened last year.
