Sladen adds to Winsford interests

Sladen Estates has acquired the 201,000 sq ft former DJM Logistics premises in Cheshire from administrator Grant Thornton.

The warehouse occupies a seven-acre site on Winsford Industrial Estate in mid-Cheshire. Sladen Estates will now market the site for new tenants.

Jones Lang LaSalle and Sanderson Weatherall acted on behalf of Grant Thornton on the sale.

Richard Johnson, associate director at Jones Lang LaSalle, said: "Sladen Estates have experience on Winsford Industrial Estate where they developed Unit P150 in 2008, a new build unit measuring 149,000 sqft on a 7.5 acre site, which is also located on Road One and was let it to Linpac Allibert.

"WinsfordOne is the third property we've jointly sold for Grant Thornton in conjunction with Sanderson Weatherall."

DJM Logistics went into administration in 2010.
