Shortlist revealed for North West Regional Construction Awards 2022

Winners will be put forward for the National Constructing Excellence Awards in London this November.

The North West Regional Construction Awards is in its 16th year and celebrates the best in the industry.

This event is a collaboration between Constructing Excellence in the North West, the School of Science, Engineering and Environment at the University of Salford and the Centre for Construction Innovation.

The ceremony for the regional awards will be held on 21 July at the Hilton Manchester Deansgate.

Peter McDermott, head judge for the NWRCA and a professor at the University of Salford, said: “We continue to see an increasing recognition of the positive impact the construction sector contributes to communities across the UK.”

He continued: “With applications to the awards back to pre-pandemic levels – and with a much shorter lead-in time as we coordinate back in line with the National Awards – we offer congratulations to all of those short-listed and wish you the very best of luck!”

The awards are sponsored by Place North West, PlaceTech, A&B Engineering, Tilbury Douglas, Morgan Sindall, Hays Recruitment, Pagabo, Weightmans and Relentless.

The awards are produced and managed by Manchester-based live events and communications agency Clear.
