Semple Fraser strengthens team
Law firm Semple Fraser LLP has recruited Neil Armstrong from Addleshaw Goddard as director in the construction group in Manchester.
Armstrong spent six years at Addleshaw Goddard working mainly on non-contentious matters including procurement advice and drafting contracts. He also advises on due diligence for real estate acquisitions and PFI/PPP transactions.
He said: "Semple Fraser have made their mark in Manchester as an entrepreneurial law firm and with the quality of their clients and scale of their transactions. Semple Fraser's industry focus also makes them stand out. Their specialists work together and make it their business to have a firm grasp of what is going on in their clients' industries. It was in great part this strategy that most attracted me to the business."
Simon Etchells, managing director, said: "I am delighted that Neil is joining us – his legal experience is first class and his background in mechanical engineering is a particular strength. His arrival further strengthens our offer to the UK construction market as well as enhancing our real estate proposition in the North West."
Semple Fraser's construction group act for Tesco Stores, Threadneedle Property Investments, Unite Group, Helical Bar and Ikea.
